Cover People are working with a welcoming primary school in Salford who are looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs.
The Role
-
Providing 1:1 support for a pupil throughout the school day

Supporting learning, engagement and emotional development
-
Helping the pupil access the curriculum

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
-
Creating a calm, structured and supportive environment
✅ About You

Experience working with children (school or relevant background)

Understanding of SEN, behaviour or additional needs

Patient, resilient and reliable
-
Strong communication skills
-
DBS on the update service or willing to apply
⚠️ Important Requirement
You must be willing to complete a couple of days of voluntary/unpaid work as part of the process to gain experience and demonstrate suitability for the role.
