Cover People are working closely with a friendly and supportive primary school in Wythenshawe who are looking to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs.
This role is ideal for someone patient, nurturing and confident in providing consistent support to help a child access learning and thrive in the classroom.
About the Role

Providing 1:1 support for a pupil during the school day

Supporting learning, engagement and emotional regulation

Assisting with classroom routines and activities

Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO

Helping to create a calm, positive learning environment
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
✔ Has experience working with children (school experience preferred)
✔ Is patient, reliable and confident
✔ Has an understanding of SEN, behaviour or additional needs
✔ Communicates well with staff and pupils
✔ Holds a DBS on the update service or is willing to apply
