Cover People UK is currently recruiting a qualified Computer Science Teacher for a full-time position within a secondary school in Hyde. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and knowledgeable teacher to join a supportive department and contribute to high-quality teaching and learning.
The school is seeking a committed professional who can deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Key Stage 5 experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
The Role:

Teaching Computer Science across KS3 and KS4

Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons aligned to the national curriculum

Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress

Promoting digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills

Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Working collaboratively within the department and wider school team
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Experience teaching Computer Science in a UK secondary school

Strong subject knowledge, including programming and core computing principles

Effective classroom management skills

A professional, reliable, and proactive approach

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
