The Role
- Deliver engaging and inspiring English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student achievement
- Monitor and support student progress through effective assessment and feedback
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
- Contribute positively to the wider English department and school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A passion for English and raising student attainment
- A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
