Cover People are currently working in partnership with a highly regarded secondary school in Altrincham to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting ASAP.

The successful candidate will inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of the world around them while delivering engaging and challenging Geography lessons.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
- Create a positive, inclusive, and purposeful classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to support attainment
- Encourage students to develop their geographical knowledge, critical thinking, and enquiry skills
- Work collaboratively with the Humanities department and wider school staff to promote outstanding teaching and learning
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A passion for Geography and inspiring young people to achieve their potential
- A proactive, professional, and reliable approach to teaching
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
