We are working with a variety of supportive and high-performing schools looking for Humanities specialists who can inspire students and deliver engaging lessons across subjects such as History, Geography, Religious Education, and Social Sciences.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach your specialist subject while supporting the wider Humanities curriculum where required
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum expectations
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support student attainment, progress, and engagement
- Work collaboratively with department colleagues and senior leadership teams
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Humanities subjects within UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to adapt confidently to different school environments
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A professional, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
