The Role
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Teach your specialist Humanities subject while contributing to the wider department where required
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student progress
- Encourage students to develop analytical, evaluative, and critical thinking skills
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Humanities subjects within a UK secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A passion for Humanities education and raising student attainment
- A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
