The Role
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Promote participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles through sport and physical activity
- Support students in developing their physical skills, confidence, and wellbeing
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
- Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and wider school activities where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A passion for sport, physical education, and student development
- A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
