About the Role:
Cover People are currently recruiting for a Primary Early Careers Teachers to join Primary and SEND schools based in Tameside, starting from September.
This is an opportunity for a passionate and reliable educator to make a real impact. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons across Key Stages 1 and 2, and contribute positively to the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in line with national curriculum standards
- Monitor and assess pupil progress effectively
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Contribute to department planning, meetings, and wider school initiatives
- Support the academic and personal development of all learners
Person Specification:
Essential:
- QTS or equivalent UK teaching qualification
- Experience teaching the Primary National Curriculum
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- A passion for teaching and pupil progress
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable:
- SEND experience or additional qualifications
- Familiarity with UK exam boards and assessment frameworks
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities
