Cover People are recruiting enthusiastic and motivated newly qualified primary teachers (ECTs) on behalf of our partner primary schools across South Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for those graduating this summer who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience, build confidence, and explore different school settings.
About the role:
This position is ideal for early career teachers looking for short-term and day-to-day supply work. You will be providing cover for teacher absences due to sickness, training days, and other short-term leave. The role offers great flexibility and the opportunity to make a positive impression across a range of schools, which could lead to long-term or permanent teaching roles.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

Manage classroom behaviour effectively

Adapt to different school environments and policies

Build positive relationships with staff and pupils
Requirements:

QTS (or expecting to gain QTS within the next two months)

A genuine passion for primary education

Strong communication and classroom management skills
