The Role
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Encourage students to explore a range of religious, ethical, and philosophical perspectives
- Foster critical thinking, respectful debate, and cultural understanding
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student progress
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and achievement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Religious Education within a UK secondary school setting
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A passion for RE and developing students' understanding of diverse beliefs and values
- A proactive, professional, and enthusiastic approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
