About the Role
Cover People are proud to be working with a welcoming primary school in Levenshulme, who are looking to appoint a caring and committed SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference by providing tailored support to a pupil with additional needs, ensuring they can access learning and flourish both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities

Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needs.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised strategies.

Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour.

Build strong relationships with the pupil, their family and the wider school team.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:

Holds a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Has experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, speech and language, SEMH).

Is patient, empathetic, and resilient with a nurturing approach.

Can work collaboratively as part of a team, while showing initiative.
