About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and proactive member to join the site team at a local primary school in Oldham. This role is vital in ensuring the school remains safe, secure, and welcoming for staff, pupils, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of the school premises.
- Carrying out minor repairs, general maintenance, and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
- Supporting site security, including locking/unlocking the building and monitoring access.
- Assisting with cleaning, waste management, and other duties as required.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Must be registered with Cover People UK to be considered.
- A DBS on the update service is preferred, or willingness to complete the DBS process through Cover People.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Practical skills and willingness to support a range of site duties.
- A positive attitude and commitment to contributing to a safe and efficient school environment.
