We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Withington. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about early years education and supporting the development of young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality early years education.
- Support children with a range of learning activities, both individually and in small groups.
- Help create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with children, supporting their social and emotional development.
- Support the teacher with daily tasks, including preparation of resources and maintaining classroom routines.
- Observe and track children’s progress, providing feedback where appropriate.
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience working with young children, ideally in an EYFS setting.
- A genuine passion for early years education and the development of young children.
- A caring and patient approach with strong communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
