About the Role:

We’re proud to work closely with primary schools across Tameside who need supportive and proactive Teaching Assistants to help children reach their full potential. Roles are available in EYFS, KS1, and KS2, and we’ll match you to settings that suit your skills, experience, and preferences.

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to help pupils progress.

  • Foster a positive, nurturing learning environment.

  • Assist with classroom organisation and behaviour management.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:
✅ Relevant experience working with children in a school or childcare setting.
✅ A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above) – desirable but not essential.
✅ A positive, proactive attitude and a passion for supporting young learners.
✅ An up-to-date Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
