Location: Primary Schools in Salford & South Manchester
Salary: £90- £95 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time Only

About the Role:
Cover People is seeking passionate and resilient individuals with a background in sports, coaching, or youth work to join our partner primary schools as SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teaching Assistants. This role involves supporting children aged 5–11 who face challenges such as ADHD, trauma, or behavioural difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to pupils with SEMH needs.

Utilise sports and physical activities to engage students and promote positive behaviour.

Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies.

Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to develop tailored support plans.

Experience in sports coaching, youth work, or similar roles involving children.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with young learners.

Resilience and adaptability in challenging situations.

A genuine passion for supporting children's educational and emotional development.

Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
