Are you a recent graduate passionate about making a difference in children's lives? Are you ready to bring your academic knowledge and transferable skills into a vibrant primary school setting?

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Graduate Classroom Support Assistants to join our supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates with qualifications in Health and Social Care, Social Sciences, Childcare, Teaching Assistant Studies, or related fields, who are keen to work hands-on in a classroom environment, supporting both whole-class learning and children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role:

As a Graduate Support Assistant, you will:

  • Work alongside experienced teachers to support learning across a range of subjects

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to children, including those with SEMH needs

  • Help create an inclusive, nurturing, and positive classroom environment

  • Use your understanding of child development and social care to foster pupils' wellbeing

  • Develop behaviour management and classroom strategies to support learning

About You:

We are looking for graduates who:

  • Hold a degree or Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (e.g., Health & Social Care, Social Sciences, Childcare, or Teaching Assistant)

  • Are passionate about supporting children's learning and development

  • Have strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills

  • Are enthusiastic, proactive, and adaptable

  • May be considering a future career in teaching, education, or child psychology

Experience working with children is desirable but not essential. We value your potential and the skills you've developed through your studies, placements, or voluntary roles.
