Cover People are seeking a passionate, nurturing and confident teacher to take on a part-time long-term role in a Year 2 class, working Mondays and Tuesdays from January until the end of the academic year. Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a Year 2 class on Monday and Tuesday, delivering high-quality, engaging lessons

Essential Criteria

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs strongly encouraged to apply

  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum, particularly Year 2

  • Confident behaviour management rooted in consistency and calm routines

  • Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills

  • A commitment to inclusive, nurturing and responsive practice

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This vacancy is a temporary long-term position. Opportunities to move into a permanent role may occasionally become available, and we remain flexible to support candidates who may not wish to commit to a permanent contract.
