Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time teaching opportunity?
Cover People are recruiting for a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and nurturing primary school in Wythenshawe every Thursday from September 2026. The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to creating an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment
• A collaborative approach to working with colleagues, pupils and families
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and well-planned lessons every Thursday for a Year 4 class
• Ensure continuity of learning alongside the class teacher
• Create a positive and purposeful classroom where pupils feel valued and supported
• Assess pupil understanding and provide clear feedback to the class teacher
• Promote high standards of behaviour, learning and presentation
• Uphold the school's values and contribute positively to the wider school community
