They are now seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to provide day-to-day and short-term cover. This is an excellent opportunity to join a nurturing school community and support pupils as they prepare for their SATs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons to Year 6 pupils, preparing them for the transition to Secondary education.
  • Create a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Contribute positively to the school community and uphold its values.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide feedback on pupils’ progress.

Essential Criteria:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 6.
  • Good understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs preparation.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
