Location: Rochdale (and surrounding areas)
Pay: £90–£110 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role
As a Secondary Behaviour Mentor, you’ll work closely with pupils who require additional guidance to succeed in school.
Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs

Implement and support behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques

Build trusting relationships that promote self-esteem and positive choices

Support students both in-class and through dedicated intervention sessions

Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and families to improve outcomes

Help create calm, consistent environments conducive to learning
Who We’re Looking For
You might be:
-
A youth worker, teaching assistant, or graduate with experience supporting young people
-
A sports coach, mentor, or outreach worker interested in education
-
Calm, resilient, and able to maintain clear boundaries
-
Passionate about helping young people build confidence and success in school
Experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour or SEN (such as ADHD, ASD, or trauma-related needs) is highly desirable.
