Cover People UK are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a Good primary school in Wythenshawe, seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join their Early Years team. About the Role

As an EYFS Teacher, you will lead an Early Years class, designing exciting and creative learning opportunities that inspire children to explore and grow. You will play a vital role in laying the foundations for lifelong learning. This opportunity is open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners seeking a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons in line with the EYFS framework.

  • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.

  • Create an inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued.

  • Track pupil progress and share feedback with parents and carers.

  • Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and the wider school community.

  • Contribute to whole-school life, including events and enrichment activities.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK.

  • Has teaching experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.

  • Is creative, nurturing, and committed to pupil development.

  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

Requirements

  • Must be registered with Cover People UK.

  • Must hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through Cover People UK.
