Cover People UK are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to provide day-to-day cover across primary schools in Tameside. This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified TAs who are looking for flexible, part-time work while gaining experience in a range of school settings.
The Role

Providing classroom support to pupils and teachers across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Assisting pupils with SEN where required, promoting inclusion and adapting support.

Helping with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and behaviour management.

Covering a variety of schools and settings depending on daily requirements.
About You
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above).

Experience working in a UK school setting (mainstream or SEN).

Flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work confidently across year groups.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff and pupils.

A caring, patient and professional approach to supporting children’s learning.
Requirements:

Must have a valid DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through Cover People UK.

Must be registered with Cover People UK (or willing to register).

Driving licence and own transport are preferable, but not essential.
