SEN Teaching Assistant – Resource Base (SK5)

£90–£105 per day
Cover People are working with a primary school in the SK5 area who are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their resource base provision.
This role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning and develop socially and emotionally in a supportive environment.
The Role

Supporting pupils with SEN within the school’s resource base

Working 1:1 and with small groups of children

Supporting pupils with learning, communication and behaviour
-
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and interventions
-
Helping to create a calm, structured and supportive environment
✅ About You

Experience working with children with SEN (ASD, SEMH, ADHD or similar desirable)

Patient, resilient and nurturing approach

Confident supporting behaviour and emotional regulation

Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff

DBS on the update service or willing to apply
