Start: After Easter | Contract: Until July | Full-Time
£140–£200 per day (depending on experience)
Cover People are working with a primary school in the SK5 area who are looking to appoint a confident Year 5 Teacher to join their team after the Easter holidays until the end of the academic year in July.
This role would suit a teacher who is confident leading a KS2 class and can quickly build strong relationships with pupils while maintaining clear expectations.
The Role

Full Year 5 class teaching responsibilities

Planning and delivering engaging KS2 lessons

Preparing pupils for the transition into Year 6

Working closely with support staff and senior leaders

Creating a positive, structured and purposeful classroom environment
⚠️ Important
The school are particularly looking for someone with strong behaviour management skills who can confidently lead the class and maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
✅ Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in Key Stage 2

Confident classroom and behaviour management

DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
