Cover People UK are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of an Outstanding primary school in South Manchester, seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join their team. About the Role

You will be responsible for a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging lessons that inspire and motivate pupils to reach their full potential. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are eager to contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring that every child is supported and challenged.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.

  • Work in partnership with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support pupil development.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and school initiatives.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK.

  • Has teaching experience in Key Stage 2 (Year 3–6).

  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management and strong subject knowledge.

  • Can adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

  • Communicates effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

  • Brings energy, resilience, and a passion for education.

Requirements

  • Must be registered with Cover People UK.

  • Must hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to complete a new application through Cover People UK.
