About the Opportunity:
Are you a sports coach, activity leader, or youth mentor looking to take your skills into the classroom? Cover People UK are looking for enthusiastic and resilient individuals to work as Behaviour Support Workers and Teaching Assistants in Primary Schools across Greater Manchester.
This is a fantastic opportunity to use your coaching skills to motivate and inspire pupils, while supporting their learning and development in a school environment.
The Role:

Support individual pupils or small groups with behaviour, focus, and engagement

Assist the class teacher in creating a positive, safe learning environment

Deliver structured interventions (academic or wellbeing-based)

Lead and support physical activities and movement breaks throughout the day

Act as a role model and mentor, encouraging positive choices
We’re Looking For People Who:
-
Have experience in sports coaching, youth work, mentoring or working with children
-
Are confident, patient, and resilient when managing behaviour
-
Can communicate well with pupils, teachers, and parents
-
Are passionate about helping children succeed both inside and outside the classroom

Driver’s licence and own transport preferable (but not essential)
Requirements:

Be willing to register with Cover People UK

Hold a DBS on the update service or be happy to complete a new one through us
