SEN Learning Support Assistant – Primary Schools (North Manchester)

Are you an experienced and compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant looking for your next rewarding role?
Cover People are working with primary schools across North Manchester who are seeking dedicated LSAs to support pupils with special educational needs (SEN) on a 1:1 and small group basis.
The Role:

Support pupils with SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored learning support.

Help pupils build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.

Contribute to creating a calm, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
Requirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school or care setting.

Team Teach or other behaviour management training is desirable.

DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply through Cover People).

Must be willing to register with Cover People.

Own transport and full driving licence preferred (not essential).
