Cover People UK is currently recruiting two Part-Time Science Teachers to work within a welcoming secondary school in the SK6 area of Stockport starting after the Easter break.
These roles offer an excellent opportunity for qualified Science teachers seeking flexible part-time teaching within a supportive department and well-established school environment.
Available Roles
Role 1:

Monday – Wednesday

Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
Role 2:

Monday – Thursday

Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
Both roles will involve delivering engaging and structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum and supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
-
Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons
-
Teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Monitoring student progress and providing feedback

Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and engagement

Working collaboratively with the Science department and school staff
Requirements
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school

Strong classroom management skills

Excellent communication and organisational abilities

A proactive and professional approach to teaching
Essential Criteria

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – required

Willingness and ability to register with Cover People UK
Candidates must hold a DBS on the Update Service and be registered with, or willing to register with, Cover People UK to be considered for these roles.
