Salary / Pay Rate: £130–£150 per day (inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum

  • Build a positive and inclusive classroom culture

  • Adapt to different school settings and age groups

  • Support pupil progress through personalised learning approaches

  • Work collaboratively with school staff and leadership teams

  • Reflect on your teaching and act on developmental feedback


Essential Criteria

  • Completion of teacher training and QTS by September 2025

  • Strong communication, planning, and classroom management skills

  • Enthusiasm for primary education and working with children

  • Ability to travel to schools across Rochdale, including:

    • Rochdale Town Centre

    • Heywood

    • Middleton

    • Castleton

    • Littleborough

    • Milnrow

    • Wardle

    • Bamford

    • and surrounding areas

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply via Cover People)
