About the Role:
As a Lower KS2 Teacher (Year 4), you will be responsible for guiding pupils as they begin their Key Stage 2 journey. You will deliver engaging lessons, support pupils’ transition from Key Stage 1, and help them develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed as independent learners.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.

Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.

Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

Contribute to wider school life, including enrichment activities and events.
Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience teaching in primary (Lower KS2 experience desirable).

Good knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment requirements.

Strong classroom management and organisational skills.

A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. While this is initially a temporary role, permanent opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
