Primary School Teacher – Primary School

Cover People UK is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher for a welcoming and supportive primary school in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to make a positive impact within a nurturing school environment.

The role is suitable for both ECTs and experienced teachers, with the school open to candidates across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 depending on experience and strengths.

The Role

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the primary national curriculum

  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

  • Assessing and monitoring pupil progress

  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership

  • Supporting the wider development and wellbeing of pupils

We Are Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school setting

  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

  • A nurturing and adaptable approach to teaching

  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities

  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Essential Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential

  • Willingness and ability to register with Cover People UK

 Candidates must hold a DBS on the Update Service and be registered with, or willing to register with, Cover People UK to be considered for this role.
