About the Role
Cover People are excited to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Wythenshawe, who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children across the school, helping them to achieve their potential in a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support pupils in both group and 1:1 settings across a range of subjects.

Assist the class teacher with preparation, delivery, and classroom management.

Deliver small group interventions to support progress in literacy and numeracy.

Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and resilience in pupils.

Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for children.
About You
-
Hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or relevant school-based experience).

Experience supporting children in a primary setting (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).

A positive, patient, and flexible approach.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Passionate about helping children succeed academically and socially.
