This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) while enjoying the variety and flexibility of day-to-day and short-term teaching roles.

Whether you’re an experienced SEN specialist or a qualified teacher with a passion for inclusive education, we want to hear from you.

The Role

As an SEN Teacher, you’ll deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of students with a range of learning differences and developmental needs. Depending on the nature of the cover, lessons may already be pre-planned.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Teaching and supporting students with a range of special educational needs (social, emotional, communication, and learning needs).

  • Adapting lessons and resources to suit individual learning plans and abilities.

  • Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.

  • Supporting pupils’ personal development, behaviour, and wellbeing.

  • Collaborating with SEN staff, support assistants, and parents to ensure consistent support for each learner.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.

  • Has experience teaching students with SEN in mainstream or specialist settings.

  • Understands the challenges faced by students with additional needs and demonstrates empathy, patience, and creativity.

  • Can adapt quickly to new environments and build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

  • Holds or is working towards an SEN qualification or has undertaken relevant SEN training (desirable but not essential).

What We Offer

  • Competitive daily rates

  • Flexible day-to-day and short-term placements

  • Support from experienced, specialist consultants

  • Opportunities to work in a range of welcoming and inclusive schools

  • The chance to make a meaningful impact without the commitment of a permanent role

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This role is offered on a temporary, flexible basis.
