We are recruiting Sports Coaches to deliver high-quality, engaging PE lessons within SEN Primary Schools across North Manchester. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ physical development, confidence, and wellbeing.
The Role
You will:
- Deliver inclusive PE and physical activity sessions tailored to a range of special educational needs.
- Work closely with school staff to support pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, sensory needs, and physical disabilities.
- Create a positive, safe, and encouraging learning environment.
-Support wider school enrichment activities where required.

Essential Requirements
To be considered, applicants must have:
Qualifications & Experience
- A recognised sports coaching qualification (e.g., Level 1/2, NGB awards) or a degree in Sports Coaching, Physical Education, or a related field.
- Experience delivering sport or physical activity sessions to children, ideally within an SEN or primary school setting.
Safeguarding
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).
- A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.

- You must be registered with Cover People to be considered for this role. Support with registration can be provided.
