Cover People are recruiting passionate and experienced Supply Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in the Oldham and Rochdale areas. We’re looking for teachers who can bring energy, adaptability and empathy to classrooms that support pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and flexible teacher who enjoys variety and is looking to make a lasting impact in local schools.
The Role:

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons and able to deliver differentiated and tailored lessons to mainstream pupils and those with SEN / SEND needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties

Adapt teaching approaches and materials to meet individual learning needs

Manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and support staff

Maintain continuity of learning during teacher absences across different schools
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Experience teaching pupils with SEN / SEND needs in mainstream or specialist settings

Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and behaviour management

DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one through Cover People)

Own transport and full UK driving licence – essential due to travel between schools

Flexibility to travel across both Oldham and Rochdale boroughs
