Cover People are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Class Teaching Assistants to support pupils across primary and secondary schools in Oldham and Rochdale. These roles are ideal for caring, adaptable individuals who enjoy helping children reach their full potential in a supportive classroom environment.
You’ll assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, provide one-to-one and small group support, and help create a positive, inclusive learning experience for all pupils — including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN / SEND).
Requirements:

Minimum 6 months’ experience in a UK education setting (essential – even if you’ve worked abroad)

DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply through Cover People)

Passion for working with children and supporting learning

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Own transport and full UK driving licence – essential due to travel across schools in both boroughs
