The Role

You’ll play a key part in supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them access learning and reach their full potential. Working closely with class teachers and SENCOs, your day will be filled with variety, positivity, and purpose.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs.

  • Assisting with differentiated learning activities and behaviour support.

  • Creating an inclusive, nurturing, and safe learning environment.

  • Supporting teachers with classroom management and resource preparation.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a UK educational setting (Primary or Secondary).

  • Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN.

  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 preferred).

  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Cover People).

  • A genuine passion for education and child development.

A driving licence and own transport are desirable but not essential.
