Secondary School Cover Supervisor
Locations: Stockport & Tameside
Pay: Depending on experience and qualifications
Contract: Day-to-day / Short-term / Long-term supply
Cover People UK is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across multiple secondary schools within Stockport and Tameside. These roles are ideal for individuals with experience working with young people who are confident managing a classroom and delivering pre-set work.
The Role:

Supervising classes during teacher absence using pre-planned lesson materials

Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a focused learning environment

Supporting pupils to stay on task and complete assigned work

Following school policies and safeguarding procedures

Reporting back to teaching staff as required
Requirements:

Experience working with secondary-aged pupils (school-based experience preferred)

Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

Strong communication and organisational abilities

A professional, reliable, and adaptable approach

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
