Secondary School Science Teacher

Cover People UK is currently recruiting a qualified Secondary School Science Teacher to work in secondary schools across Tameside. This role is ideal for a passionate and dedicated teacher with strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
The Role:

Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics)

KS5 experience is desirable but not essential

Planning and delivering engaging, practical, and well-structured lessons

Assessing, marking, and tracking pupil progress

Maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour and laboratory safety

Working collaboratively with department staff and wider school teams
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school setting

Strong subject knowledge in one or more science disciplines

Confident classroom management skills

A professional, flexible, and proactive approach

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
