About the Roles

We are working with several inclusive, welcoming primary schools seeking confident HLTAs who can:

  • Lead whole-class learning during PPA cover or teacher absence.

  • Deliver targeted small-group or 1:1 interventions.

  • Support behaviour, engagement, and pupil wellbeing.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching teams across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

  • Contribute to planning, assessment notes, and wider school activities (where appropriate).

Opportunities vary by school, including:

  • Full-time HLTA roles

  • Part-time HLTA cover

  • Long-term and temp-to-perm opportunities

What We’re Looking For

To be considered, you must:

  • Hold HLTA status or significant experience covering classes.

  • Have recent experience in a UK primary school.

  • Hold a DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one).

  • Be confident managing classrooms and supporting diverse learner needs.

  • Be reliable, proactive, and able to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
