Cover People UK is recruiting a qualified Secondary School Humanities Teacher to work in secondary schools across Stockport. This role is ideal for a committed and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for the Humanities and a subject specialism in History, Geography, or Religious Studies (preferred).
The Role:

Teaching Humanities across KS3 and KS4

Delivering lessons in your specialist subject where possible

Planning engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the curriculum

Assessing, marking, and monitoring pupil progress

Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and inclusive learning environments

Working collaboratively within the Humanities department and wider school team
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Experience teaching Humanities in a UK secondary school setting

Subject specialism in History, Geography, or Religious Studies (preferred)

Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom practice

A professional, flexible, and proactive approach

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
