Cover People UK is recruiting Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants with SEN experience to work in primary schools across North Manchester. This role is ideal for compassionate, skilled professionals who are committed to supporting pupils with additional needs to thrive in a school environment.
The Role:

Providing targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Working 1:1 and in small groups with children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties

Supporting pupils with EHCPs in line with individual support plans

Assisting the class teacher with differentiated learning activities
-
Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and inclusion

Creating a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – essential

Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a primary school setting

A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

Strong communication and behaviour support skills

Understanding of safeguarding and SEN best practice
