Secondary School Supply Teacher
Location: Stockport (Multiple Secondary Schools)
Contract: Day-to-day / Short-term / Long-term
Cover People UK is currently recruiting qualified Secondary School Supply Teachers to work across multiple secondary schools in Stockport. We have a range of flexible opportunities available, including day-to-day cover and longer-term placements.
This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexibility, varied classroom experience, or a pathway into permanent roles within local schools.
The Role:

Delivering pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 where applicable)

Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment

Adapting confidently to different schools and subject areas

Assessing pupil engagement and providing feedback where required

Following school behaviour and safeguarding policies
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

A flexible, reliable, and professional approach

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
