This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers. The school requires a teacher with established Year 5 experience, who can demonstrate confidence in delivering high-quality teaching, supporting progress across upper KS2, and maintaining a purposeful learning environment.

Key Requirements

  • Substantial experience teaching Year 5 in a UK primary school setting.

  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to establish high expectations from day one.

  • A thorough understanding of the KS2 curriculum, assessment frameworks, and effective differentiation strategies.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive staff team.
