PE Teachers (Male & Female) – Secondary Schools

The Role
- Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Promote physical activity, teamwork, and wellbeing
- Plan and deliver structured lessons in line with the curriculum
- Manage behaviour effectively in practical and classroom settings
- Support extracurricular sport and school teams where appropriate
- Work collaboratively with PE departments and wider school staff
We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant secondary teaching experience
- Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities
- Professional, reliable, and adaptable approach
- Passion for sport, fitness, and student development
Essential Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential
- Ability to work across secondary schools in Stockport
- Willingness to register with Cover People UK
Candidates must hold a DBS on the Update Service and be registered with, or willing to register with, Cover People UK to be considered for these roles.
