KS5 Psychology Teacher – Grammar School (Sociology Candidates Welcome)

Cover People UK is recruiting a qualified KS5 Psychology Teacher for a Grammar School in the WA14 area. We are also happy to consider Sociology specialists who are confident teaching post-16 students. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting students in A-Level Psychology (and/or Sociology) to achieve academic excellence.
The Role:

Delivering KS5 Psychology lessons (and/or Sociology)
-
Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging, challenging lessons for post-16 students
-
Assessing, tracking, and supporting student progress
-
Supporting students with critical thinking, research skills, and exam preparation

Maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour

Collaborating with department colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

Experience teaching Psychology (and/or Sociology) at KS5 / A-Level

Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with A-Level specifications

Excellent classroom management skills

Professional, reliable, and proactive approach

Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
